Introduction

This section describes how to remove and refit the instrument cluster on the S2. This is required when backlight illumination bulbs need replaced or if any other component of the instrument cluster needs attention - such as the ambient temperature display module or the autocheck/trip computer.

S2/RS2 Instrument Cluster
Removal of the instrument cluster can be accomplished with the bare minimum of tools. A little patience is required to do this job to ensure you do not damage the cluster or the control stalks.

It is not a time consuming task, but I recommend you don't want to do it in a hurry as it can be fiddly removing some of the electrical connectors.

It is a simple procedure that does NOT need the steering wheel to be removed.
