Wiring & Technical Details

To the best of my knowledge, and with plenty of help from the S-Car aficionados, the ATD module is wired into the S2 as shown in the table below :

Pin Number ATD Wire Colour Loom Wire Colour Description
1 Grey (GR) White / Blue (WS/BL) Speed Sensor
2 Yellow (GE) Brown / Yellow (BR/GE) Temp Sensor with resistive path to 0V
3 Green (GN) Brown (BR) 0V (Ground)
4 Brown (BR) Grey / Blue (GR/BL) Illumination feed (12V)
5 White (WS) Black / Blue (BK/BL) Main feed (12V)

This photo shows the 5-pin connector at the rear of the instrument cluster connecting the loom to the ATD module.
